Angelika is a lifelong learner, loves languages and is passionate about education. She holds an advanced degree in Chemistry from the RWTH Aachen, Germany, and conducted post-graduate research in Bioengineering at the University of Washington. She recently worked for a medical startup and is excited to return to the classroom. Angelika has taught Math, Science and Spanish in grades 5-12, coached elementary and middle school Math teams and mentored Robotics teams in Washington state. She believes in fostering children’s natural curiosity, meeting students where they are, and helping them grow both academically and socially. In her free time, Angelika mentors a local HS Robotics team and enjoys playing tennis, hiking with her husband and dogs, traveling and pursuing various crafts.
